Firewire – Seaside (FCS II / Futures)

Design
Rob Machado’s most popular design is the Seaside. A board which is made for the low, small and weak end of the Surf. If a wave is barely breaking you can surf it with the seaside.

Shape
Wide Outline and a lot of foam in front with a low rocker line for easy paddling and glide through the very weakest and slowest sections of the wave. The bottom has a single-to-double concave. This makes it a board that paddles very easy, gets up and goes fast. The Swallow Tail with sharp rails allows it still to turn it good and gives hold also in bigger, better surf. Therefore, it’s also a great transitional board for the more beginner surfer who is ready to take the step away from their longboard.

Sizing
Advanced surfers will want to ride this board as much as 7-9 inches below their height. A more intermediate level surfer will want to stick to something a little below their height. Have an eye on your volume and add a extra Liter for the north sea.

Comes with 5-fin option, so enough room to test.
